Career Fair to Kick Off September 16The staff of the Career and Leadership Development Center are busy preparing for the Fall 2013 Career & Internship Fair, scheduled 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 24, in the Baker Center Ballroom.
According to Julia Fleming, the CLDC’s assistant director for employer relations, the fair is open to all OHIO students and alumni. If past years are any indication, participants can expect to encounter more than 100 potential employers at the fair. “Last year we had 112,” Fleming said.
The list of employers already committed to attend the fair include representatives of a wide variety of professional fields: retail, financial services, telecommunication, accounting, manufacturing, healthcare services, education, technology, government, real estate, media, energy and more.
Students and alumni seeking employment or internships at the fair can get some guidance on navigating the fair at the CLDC’s Prepare for the Fair Week events Sept. 16-20. “The week before we’ll have a workshop series where students can just get ready for the fair,” Fleming said.
