Jenn Bowie has spent the majority of her adult life in Athens at Ohio University. Back in the fall of 1990, she fell in love with the small town during her first year as an undergraduate journalism student. After graduating in 1994, Bowie left for a few years before returning to OHIO in 1997. She completed her Master of Science in Communication in 1999 and shortly after began working in the Division of University Advancement, eventually assuming the role of executive director of Advancement Communications and Marketing. In 2012, Bowie expanded her University involvement by accepting an invitation to serve on the Margaret Boyd Scholars Program (MBSP) Board. And so her journey supporting women scholars began.
