Dear Prospective College Student Personnel Graduate Student:
Established in 1804, Ohio University is the oldest public institution of higher learning in the state of Ohio. We are delighted that you are interested in pursuing a graduate degree at Ohio University and are interested in gaining useful professional training through our graduate assistantship program within the Division of Student Affairs.
Assistantships are on-campus positions that are designed to supplement your classroom experience with practical experience. The Division of Student Affairs offers many assistantship opportunities, and, given the partnership with The Gladys W. and David H. Patton College of Education, first consideration goes to those students applying for admission to the College Student Personnel program. If you have any questions regarding the graduate assistantship application process as it relates to the College Student Personnel program, please contact Chad Barnhardt at email@example.com (740-593-1800) or Jonathan Renard at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Stipend amounts in the Division of Student Affairs are allocated through individual departments, and The Gladys W. and David H. Patton College of Education provides your tuition waiver. (Please note that stipend amounts vary for graduate assistantship positions outside the Division of Student Affairs.)
