Student Senate
Ohio University Student Senate is a branch of the university governance structure that represents and advocates for all students to university administration and beyond. We fund over 600 student organizations every year. We also help host events like Pride Week, Finals Fest and Take Back the Night.
We are a group of diverse students looking to make a difference on Ohio University’s campus. The Student Senate is for the students of OHIO and we hope to improve the lives of everyone at the University.

Senate Appropriations Committee
SAC is the funding commission for the Student Senate. They provide semesterly and biweekly funding to student organizations for programming and events. SAC meets on Sundays at 5:00 p.m. in Walter Hall 235. You can contact the Senate Appropriations committee at sac@ohio.edu.

General Body Meetings are every Wednesday at 7:15 p.m. in Walter 235. These meetings are open to the public and all students are encouraged to attend.
