Non-profit organizations recruit Ohio University students during Work That Matters fair

Ohio University’s Career and Leadership Development Center (CLDC) is readying for its annual “Work That Matters: Non-Profit and Service Fair.”

Students are invited to learn more about volunteer opportunities, careers and internships at non-profit and government service organizations during the fair, which will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 1, in the Multipurpose Room, located on the second floor of Baker Center in rooms 240 and 242.

“This event was created in response to some of our non-profit and service employers asking for an event where they could connect with service-oriented students,” said Associate Director for Employer Relations Aaron Sturgill. It was originally started during the spring semester of 2016.
