Ohio University’s Collegiate Recovery Community provides support and resources

Ohio University’s Collegiate Recovery Community- R.I.S.E., Recovery to Inspire, Share and Empower- provides support and resources for students in recovery from alcohol, drugs and addictive behaviors, students seeking recovery and students impacted by the addiction of a loved one or friend.

R.I.S.E. has a dedicated lounge area in Baker University Center 313; however, the lounge will be closed during fall semester due to the pandemic. Weekly meetings are being held virtually or outside as weather permits with social distancing. In addition to the lounge, activities are planned by members and financially supported by donors. Several scholarships are available to students who have demonstrated commitment to the community and their recovery.

More information about R.I.S.E. can be found here or by contacting Ann Addington at addingto@ohio.edu.
