Keeping Bobcats Informed Parents & Families, Oct. 21, 2020

Bobcat Parents and Families,

I can’t believe we’re already into midterms! This summer and fall have been full of long days but short weeks from my point of view. I hope you are enjoying the season. Please join me in encouraging your student to celebrate Halloween safely this year with small groups and healthy practices. It will take all of us to ensure that we keep our communities safe with flu season just around the corner.

This will be my last letter to you this fall as I move into my interim role as Vice President of Student Affairs. Dr. Patti McSteen, Associate Dean of Students and die-hard Bobcat, will step in as interim Dean of Students beginning next week. She will be your primary point of contact for the foreseeable future, although I still hope to hear from you as well. You are in capable hands; no one loves our students more than Patti, and I have every confidence in her fulfilling this important role for the second time.

Happy Halloween,

Jenny Hall-Jones
Interim Vice President
Division of Student Affairs
