Culinary Services and Dean of Students Office pilot Bobcats Helping Bobcats Meal Bank Pilot
During the week of Reading Day, the Dean of Students Office and Culinary Services are partnering to pilot the Bobcats Helping Bobcats Meal Bank program. Athens students who are on a Traditional, Flex, or Block Meal Plan can donate up to three meals during the week of Sept. 30 through Oct. 6. Meals can be donated at any of the three dining courts and will be available to students experiencing hunger on our campus.
To access the Meal Bank, students need to completea short online application. Applications are reviewed by the Dean of Students Office. Students will be notified via email if they are approved for donated meals. Those meals will be loaded directly on the student’s OHIO ID card and can be used in any dining court, Shively Grab N Go, or Smooth Moves at Boyd Market. Unused donated meals will expire at the end of the semester in which they are awarded.
For questions about the program or application process, contact the Dean of Students Office at 740-593-4022 or email@example.com.
