To access the Meal Bank, students need to complete a short online application. Applications are reviewed by the Dean of Students Office. Students will be notified via email if they are approved for donated meals. Those meals will be loaded directly on the student's OHIO ID card and can be used in any Dining Court, Shively Grab N Go, or Smooth Moves at Boyd Market. Unused donated meals will expire at the end of the semester in which they are awarded.
The Meal Bank program is a way for students to share meals from a campus meal plan with fellow students experiencing hunger on campus. Culinary Services facilitates a donation period to collect meal donations from students and then distributes them directly to Meal Bank users’ OHIO ID cards for use in campus dining venues.
Thanks to Culinary Services for making this program possible and donating meals to create the Meal Bank!
