Diversity First Career Fair 

Wednesday, October 7, 2020; 1 - 4 p.m. (EDT), Handshake’s VIRTUAL Career Fair Platform 

The inaugural Diversity First Career Fair, hosted by the CLDC and the College of Business, aims to bring students and employers together for career success. Students’ identities are often a large part of their decision-making process when researching available opportunities with a company or organization. This optimal networking opportunity allows Ohio University students to connect with representatives from organizations who demonstrate diversity as a priority through company programs, resources, and hiring initiatives.  


Registration is available through your Handshake account. Registration and payment deadline is September 23. September 23 is also the last day to cancel with a full refund.

Participation Fee:

Standard Registration – $400  
Non-Profit Registration – $200 

These fees cover a virtual booth at the career fair for multiple company representatives. 


To provide the safest recruiting environment possible, this event will be hosted virtually through Handshake’s virtual career fair platform. How does it work? Employers will be able to host 30-minute live group sessions and interact with students one-on-one through chat, audio, and video. Multiple company representatives can attend each fair. Each company representative will need to have a Handshake account.
