The application process reinforces the CLDC's philosophy of career early, often, and forever. Each step in the application process will expose students to CLDC resources, including career coaching, mock interviewing, and Handshake. Students will be evaluated on their ability to display their qualifications, leadership skills, and experiences through a resume, verbally articulate their skills, experiences, and demonstrate their understanding and importance of diversity, equity, and inclusion in the workplace. To prepare the next generation that will enter the workforce, we must ensure that they engage in the career readiness process, develop cultural competency as a skill, and understand the value that diversity, equity, and inclusion adds to our experiences and knowledge.
