Co-keynote speakers at the pinning ceremony were Hallie Cook and Carly Salyers, both Southern Campus 2017 ADN graduates. The pair were selected to share their first year nursing practice experiences to the graduating class, which include their sisters, Bradleigh Cook and Kelsy Riley. Hamilton said the selection of siblings for the keynote address upholds “family members who follow the paths of their loved ones into (nursing), creating a rich Southern Campus Nursing legacy.” Hamilton said Southern has had many family groups come through the nursing programs, including mothers and daughters, sisters, brothers and sisters and husbands and wives.
