Ironton Council for the Arts

ICA_logoOur audience is made of individuals and family groups who purchase season tickets and the general public who attend individual shows. Season ticket holders elect members to the board of trustees. The Ironton Council for the Arts has 501(c)(3) tax exempt status as a non-profit organization and is incorporated under the laws of the State of Ohio. All proceeds from sponsorships and ticket sales are used to secure top tier performers for our series and to cover printing and stage costs.
Ironton Council for the Arts 2019-20 Subscription Concert Series
This year’s concert series includes seven diverse and dynamic instrumental and vocal performances. Performers range from local musicians to those who have garnered national and international acclaim. Performers include: the up-and-coming J.L. Fulks Blues Trio from Florida (September 21); the award-winning Casey Kelly/Leslie Ellis Adult Contemporary Duo from Nashville (October 12); a return appearance by hammered dulcimer performer extraordinaire Ken Kolodner (November 9); the D.M. Davis Men’s and Women’s Choirs perform our annual Christmas concert (December 7); the Capital Duo (violin, piano) from Albany, NY (January 17); the Ohio University Jazz Ensemble (February 15); and, back by popular demand, Ms. Kiryayeva brings her lightning fast brand of classical piano from New York to Ironton on March 14.

2019-20 Performance Schedule

All performances are on Saturdays except for the Capital Duo which is on Friday. The J.L. Fulks Trio (September 21), Ohio University Jazz Ensemble (February 15), and Alina Kiryayeva (March 14) will perform in the Ohio University Southern Riffe Center Mains Rotunda at 7:30 p.m. The Casey Kelly/Leslie Ellis Adult Contemporary Duo (October 12) and Ken Kolodner (November 9) will perform in the Ohio University Southern Bowman Auditorium at 7:30 p.m. The D.M. Davis Men’s and Women’s Choirs will perform in the Ironton High School Auditorium on Saturday, December 7 at 3 p.m. The Capital Duo will perform in the First Presbyterian Church of Ironton sanctuary on Friday, January 17 at 7:30 p.m.
Season tickets are $40, individual concert tickets are $10 and may be purchased at the door. Ohio University students are admitted free with ID.
