Dear Ohio University Southern students,
Welcome to fall semester! I hope you had an enjoyable summer and are excited for the beginning of what is sure to be an interesting and unique term. My message to you today includes many important reminders and updates about class expectations, COVID training and resources, tutoring resources, campus library, student services support and information regarding microgrants.
Ohio University regional campuses will deliver fall courses using a hybrid model this fall. This means that most of you will take classes online through Blackboard or remotely, using video conferencing technology. A smaller group of you will be on campus for your lab and clinical sections. If you are unsure of the plans for your classes, please reach out to your faculty. If you need technology support for your courses, review the university technology resources site or contact email@example.com.
For those who come to campus, we have implemented health and safety protocols like physical distancing standards, lowering on-campus density, and requiring a mask or face covering at all times in a building on campus. Along with performing daily cleaning and disinfecting, our facilities staff has made improvements on campus so that you remain healthy and safe. Study spaces are available throughout campus in designated areas.
COVID Training and Resources
All students are asked to complete the COVID-19 Training and sign the Ohio Pledge. If you have not yet completed these, please do so as soon as possible. Both focus on information to keep you healthy and safe.
- The training can be found at https://www.ohio.edu/coronavirus/training.
- The Ohio Pledge can be found at https://www.ohio.edu/coronavirus/ohio-pledge.
