They are not only asking the tough questions in this ever-changing field, but are finding solutions that help the world move forward. Mar 24, 2017 The School of Media Arts & Studies will welcome Imgur’s Sarah Schaaf on Friday, March 31, as a part of MDIA day for the Scripps College of Communication’s Communication Week. An alumnus of the School of Media Arts & Studies, Schaaf is widely regarded as a leader in the field of media and technology and has received wide accolades with profiles in Fortune, Fast Company and Business Insider, to name a few.

Mar 22, 2017 Nearly 35 years ago, journalism graduate Jeff Brickman, BSJ ’74, created and placed one of the first digital ads ever on CompuServe, the first major commercial online service provider in the United States, while working at Ogilvy & Mather.

Feb 1, 2017 On Jan. 25, Lisa Maatz spoke as part of the 90 Minutes Series. Maatz, AB ‘89, is now the vice president of the American Association of University Women (AAUW). Her job entails being a lobbyist in Washington D.C., “one of the good ones,” she jokes.
