What can you do with a communication degree? In short, the sky is the limit. Our alumni are communication leaders in ever discipline of the industry. They are not only asking the tough questions in this ever-changing field, but are finding solutions that help the world move forward. Faculty and students here on campus also play a part in how Scripps shapes the future of communication through research, creative activity, internships and extracurricular activities. Two VisCom students selected as finalists for semi-final Hearst National Photojournalism Championship

Jan 11, 2018 Ohio University School of Visual Communication recent graduates Patrick Connolly and Alex Driehaus were selected as finalists for the semi-final round of the 2017-2018 Hearst National Photojournalism Championship. The top six winners in the Photojournalism News and Features competition were selected from 130 entries submitted from 72 schools nationwide.

Scripps students learn dining etiquette, professional networking skills

Dec 12, 2017 On Nov. 15, Scripps College of Communication students were able to shake out their napkins and participate in an etiquette dinner to learn how to take part in a formal dinner setting. The meal allowed students to learn about etiquette in a risk-free environment, which helps prepare them for professional careers.
