School of Communication Studies hosts 2017 Organizational Communication Mini Conference Oct. 13-15

ATHENS, Ohio (Oct. 11, 2017)—The Ohio University School of Communication Studies will host the 2017 Organizational Communication Mini Conference Oct. 13-15 at the main campus in Athens. The purpose of the Organizational Communication Mini Conference is to feature and support graduate students pursuing organizational communication research. Over 100 attendees are expected this weekend.

There will be one half-day workshop focused on narrative and storytelling on Fri., Oct. 13. Conference sessions include topics such as “Organizational Tensions & Crisis,” “Design, Innovation, and Corporate Communication” and “Discourses in Organizing: Food Justice, Resistance, and Food Security.” Click here to view a complete conference schedule.

The conference is organized by the School of Communication Studies, Ohio University Scripps College of Communication, and the Barbara Geralds Institute for Storytelling and Social Impact.
