AVW to record live episode of Confused? at Athens East tonight
Event to double as fundraiser for Athens County Children Services
ATHENS, Ohio (April 17, 2014)—Confused?, an Ohio University student-run children's educational television show produced by AVW Productions, will be recording a live episode on April 17 from 6-7:30 p.m. in Athens East Elementary's gymnasium.
The show aims to entertain and teach children about the world. Each episode revolves around a specific topic and the 4/17 episode will teach children about how weather is predicted. The show will feature live performances from the Confused? hosts, pre-recorded video segments, fun crafts and demonstrations before and during the show.
Attendees of this live taping are being asked to bring donations of peanut butter and jelly as part of Athens County Children Services' Peanut Butter and Jelly Project. This program aims to combat hunger by providing 1,000 children in the Trimble, Federal Hocking, Athens City and Nelsonville-York City Schools with peanut butter and jelly sandwiches over the summer months.
Confused? airs on WOUB II every weeknight at 8 p.m. and is produced entirely by Ohio University School of Media Arts and Studies students. More about the show and this event can be found here.
The taping is free and open to the public. Contact firstname.lastname@example.org with any questions or concerns.
