Juan Thomassie

Juan Thomassie specializes in interactive storytelling and has worked in newsrooms and data visualization companies across the country — including Lucid, Elastic, USA Today, Gannett Digital, Knight Ridder Tribune, The Los Angeles Times, and The Times-Picayune — as a designer, illustrator, art director, animator, front-end developer, and software engineer. For two decades, Thomassie taught at the Poynter Institute. He has also taught at Louisiana State University.
