Carly Densmore (M.A., Central Michigan University) is from Rochester Hills, Michigan and completed her undergraduate and master’s degrees from Central Michigan University. Carly’s research interests include instructional communication, social support, and communication apprehension. Carly won the outstanding teaching award and served as the Assistant Basic Course Director at CMU. She

absolutely loves teaching and working with students. Carly worked at her on-campus speech center for 3 years and her thesis is titled “The Relationship Between Communication Apprehension, Social Support, and Gender Correlation in a Presentation Skills Center.” Carly has co-taught the Conflict Communication course that took place at the Saginaw Regional Correctional Facility and the Communication Capstone Course at CMU. In her free time, Carly enjoys golfing, cooking, watching the Detroit Tigers, and traveling northern Michigan with her family and friends. Carly is excited to be a Bobcat!
