November workshops offer tips on accessing Student Enhancement Award funding

From staff reports | Nov 4, 2014

The Vice President for Research and Creative Activity invites Ohio University students to apply for the 2015 Student Enhancement Awards, which offer up to $6,000 to support research and travel to attend a professional meeting to present results.

Undergraduate, graduate and medical students involved with research, scholarship and creative activities are eligible. Although the awards program receives most of its applications from graduate students, undergraduate students are strongly encouraged to submit proposals.

Two workshops will be held this month to help students understand how to submit proposals to this program. The workshops will be held:

Wednesday, Nov. 19, 12-1 p.m., and Thursday, Nov. 20, 4-5 p.m.; 301U Alden Library; light refreshments provided.

Proposal deadline is: Thursday Jan. 22, 2015, 4:00 p.m.
