Ohio University’s Research Division has announced the fall 2018 schedule of Science Café and Café Conversations events.
The Café series features discussions led by Ohio University faculty members about topical issues of interest to the university community and general public, based on their research, scholarship or creative activity. Presentations are interactive and encourage students, faculty, staff and members of the community to ask questions and participate in demonstrations.
Science Cafés focus on science, engineering, technology and medical topics, while Café Conversations focus on arts, humanities and social science subjects.
“Join us as we celebrate our 10-year anniversary of the Science Cafés. Grab a coffee and engage in the conversation with our faculty experts,” said Roxanne Malé-Brune, director of grant development and projects and co-organizer of the Café Series.
The events are held at 5 p.m. most Wednesdays at the Ohio University Baker Center Front Room. The College of Arts and Sciences also sponsors a livestream of the events here: https://livestream.com/ohiocas.
