Research Compliance announces new conflict of interest disclosure process 

The Office of Research Compliance has moved the conflict of interest screening and disclosure process to the LEO research administration system. Paper forms will no longer be required for disclosures. The change will allow the office to greatly enhance its ability to process the disclosures in a timely manner.   

All investigators applying for external funding are required to complete a screening/disclosure form.  All applicants for Public Health Service (PHS) funding also must complete a conflict of interest training certification. PHS requires that the conflict disclosure and the training be completed prior to submission for funding. The training module is located on the Collaborative Institutional Training Initiative (CITI) site at  This is the same training site used for human protection, animal protection and responsible conduct of research certification.
