Deb Benton serves as University Registrar. She provides leadership and vision for the Office of the University Registrar and the Veterans and Military Student Services Center. Deb has served in her role since 2001. As university registrar, Deb directs a staff that is responsible for all student academic records, the undergraduate catalog, curriculum management, degree audit, registration, scheduling, graduation, unit record reporting, supporting technology to serve the office’s constituents and Veterans educational benefits. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Master of Education in College Student Personnel at Ohio University. Deb is a past president of the Ohio Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers (OACRAO). She received the OACRAO Linus J. Ryland Award in 2000 for distinguished service and the Ohio College Personnel Association Equity and Inclusion Award in 2016.
