Fall 2016 Trips

 

Backpacking at Dolly Sods - September 23rd - 25th 

Spend your weekend in the most scenic mountains of Central Appalachia! Over 4 nights and 3 days we will traverse 4000' bald ridgelines, explore diverse deciduous and pine forests, hike through mountain-top meadows, and swim in crystal clear mountain streams. Open to all experience levels! Beginners encouraged, those with experience will not be disappointed! 

Trip fee includes transportation, food, equipment, and guides. 
Open to non-students. Message, or stop in at the climbing wall for more details or if you have any questions.

Canoeing at AEP ReCreation Land - October 1st - 2nd

The AEP ReCreation Land is a 60,000-acre outdoor recreation area built on land once strip mined for its rich coal deposits. Join us for an incredible weekend of canoeing and exploring the lakes during the day and camping each night.

Trip fee includes transportation, food, gear, and guides.

Climbing at Red River Gorge - October 11th - 14th 

The Red River Gorge in Kentucky is a world class climbing destination and home to over 1300 established rock climbs.­ Our staff will show you these excellent climbing areas as well as provide the knowledge and experience to have a safe and fun adventure. We will provide beginner to more advanced instruction as needed, all skill levels are welcome!

After each day of climbing, will end at camp where we will enjoy back country meals and pizza at the famous Miguel's Pizza, getting a chance to see climbing culture at it's finest.

Trip fee includes transportation, food, gear, and guides. Open to non-students.

Refund Policy

Due to intensive planning and various expenses associated with each adventure trip, no refunds will be given for cancellations made within 14 days of the trip date, unless the trip is cancelled by Outdoor Pursuits.
