Ohio University Synchronized Skating Team is a club team at Ohio University compiled of all full time Ohio University Students. They are in the open collegiate division, and compete up to six times a year at various competitions against other schools such as Miami, Notre Dame and Ohio State. The team consists of 8-16 skaters. Throughout the course of a season, they rehearse a synchronized skating program up to 3 min. long to music which the coach picks out. You will learn what it means to be on a team and make lifelong friends along the way.
The Ohio University Synchronized Skating Team is self-coached and self-funded. They are one of the few teams in the Open Collegiate division that is self-coached and have gotten much recognition because of the hard work it requires.
