Facility Info 

The Aquatic Center is an Olympic sized pool that can be set up short course (25 yd) or long course (50 m) for competition, programs and events.­ This Campus Recreation facility is home to the Ohio University Varsity swimming and diving teams as well as academic classes.­ The Aquatic Center offers a range of programs to Ohio University and area communities.

Online registration for LTS starts 6pm on Jan.10.

Lap Swimming:
Monday - Friday 6 a.m. - 3 p.m.

Rec Swimming:
Monday, Wednesday, & Friday 7 p.m. - 9:30 p.m.
Saturday & Sunday 1 p.m. - 5 p.m.

The Aquatic Center is located next to Bird Arena and Grover Center, at coordinates F-5 (building #92) on the campus map.
Parking is available in the Baker Center garage, located across the street from Bird Arena. More details and fees are available here.

Facility Rentals

Aquatic Center will close for the following scheduled activities:
a) ICA Swimming and diving events
b) Special Events/Campus Recreation events/Aquatic rental events/Staff training
c) All home football games
d) Level 3 Emergency weather conditions
e) Aquatic facility emergencies

Regular scheduled facility programs will be canceled for the above scheduled events.­ Cancelations will be posted at the Aquatic Center as early as possible. Scheduled closings will be posted at least two weeks prior to the closing.

Winter Weather Emergency Closings
From time to time the winter weather gets bad and there will be Winter Weather Emergencies issued.­ These are provided in levels.­ Here is an explanation of their meaning.

Emergency Level 1 - Normal Operation and Programming Offerings
Emergency Level 2 - Aquatic Center Programs will be canceled, the facility remains open normal hours
Emergency Level 3 - Aquatic Center Programs Canceled and Facility will be closed.
