eLearning Q2S Information

Advising Schedule

Transition advising will begin in Winter 2012 for eCampus students in eLearning programs.

Find Your Transition Advisor

Your Q2S transition advisor is your regular academic advisor. If you are unsure who your advisor is, check my.ohio.edu student center or contact eLearning OHIO.

Make and Advising Appointment

Students will be contacted by email in mid-January 2012 about how and when to make an appointment for transition advising. Students will be responsible for following those instructions to schedule an appointment.

Your transition advising appointment should be scheduled no later than February 15, 2012.

Note that students who do not complete their transition advising and a TDCP (Transition Degree Completion Plan) by May 1, 2012 may not be able to register for Fall 2012 courses until they speak with their advisor.

Prepare for Advising

You will receive a phone call from your advisor at the date and time you have scheduled. Before the call you should prepare by

  • Reviewing the information on this page
  • Reviewing the TDCP form for your major (on this page)
  • Reviewing my.ohio.edu and your current DARS (have your DARS available during the call)
  • Review the course schedule listed on the Web site
  • Be prepared to discuss the degree course requirements already met and the courses needed to complete your degree program.
