Additional Information

ADVISING:
Every student is assigned an academic advisor at Orientation based on his or her declared major. The role of the advisor is to assist students in selecting courses needed for degree completion. Undecided students are advised in our office. Students MUST meet with their advisor before every semester.

LEARNING, ASSESSMENT, and CAREER RESOURCE CENTER:
Visit the Center for free tutoring, placement testing, test proctoring, and disability services.

CAREER SERVICES:
Provides career advising, assessments, Bobcat online job search tools, and job fairs.

DIVERSITY SERIES:
Lectures, concerts, and social events are scheduled on topics that help enlighten our understanding and celebrate our differences.

STUDENTS 25+
Almost half of our students are over the age of 25. Most adult students work, have children,
and other responsibilities while attending classes. We understand your time constraints and have assigned an advisor to assist you with registering for classes.

VETERANS:
Men and women who have or are currently serving in the military may be eligible for VA
Educational Benefits and other federal financial aid. Contact our Veteran Student Advisor for more information and how to apply.

COUNSELING SERVICES:
Free Counseling Services are available for current students. If you are experiencing stress, physical abuse, test anxiety, depression, or drug, alcohol, and substance abuse, please schedule an appointment by calling the Office of Student Services:
