Crime Alert

A male student reported to OUPD that between 2 and 2:30 a.m. on Sunday, September 21, 2014, he was walking on South Green between Cady and O’Bleness Houses when he was approached from behind by a group of six (6) college age white males. The victim reported he was struck with closed fists, knocked to the ground, and kicked by the group, after which, his wallet was stolen. The victim reported the suspects fled the area on foot and he returned to his home. He suffered an injury to his right eye and right knee. This case is under investigation by the Ohio University Police Department.
