Plant Story ............................................. ......Why I got into biology

B.S. Plant Biology, May 2016
OHIO University, Athens, OH

Megan joined the Wyatt lab in the fall of 2013. She is working on a joint project with Dr. David Rosenthal. She is trying to alter expression of SBPase Arabidopsis thaliana. She is currently building the constructs she will need through PCR amplification and cloning, then will insert them into Arabidopsis via Agrobacterium transformation. Once she successfully completed the cloning, she will characterize the effects of the gene under a variety of environmental conditions.
