From staff reports
In the spring, Ohio University will launch Compass Points, an e-mail newsletter that will feature succinct stories and news that fits the interests and concerns of Ohio University's 4,780 full and part-time faculty and staff.
Compass Points will arrive bi-weekly and will introduce and recap the stories from Ohio University Compass that impact readers' professional lives. Moreover, it will also provide relevant content and information of interest to faculty and staff.
During the survey conducted by University Communications and Marketing last spring, respondents said that they most frequently read about university news and campus activities and featured events. This, along with budget updates, university policies, benefits updates and much more, will be found in Compass Points.
Faculty and staff across all of Ohio University's campuses have packed schedules. This e-newsletter is one-stop where readers can quickly catch up on important employee news. And, by existing only in an online format, it will be cost-effective and environmentally friendly.
