Getting off to a great start

OHIO's learning communities help first-year students get acclimated to university life

Ohio University provides a vibrant atmosphere for learning communities. This program is a feature of the OHIO experience designed to allow groups of first-year students to take a cluster of common courses. The focus is on creating an environment where students can refine study habits and learn together as they build friendships and adjust to university life. Students, faculty, and staff share their perspectives on learning communities in this video overview.
