Cutler, Templeton scholars host forum on race

May 28, 2008

Ohio University's Cutler and Templeton scholars will host a community forum to raise awareness about race issues on campus at 7:30 p.m. Thursday in Baker University Center Ballroom.

Students from both scholarship programs will address specific race incidents that have occurred on campus during the past year and present information about student perceptions of racism. The students also will address how we, as a campus and society, can move beyond problems associated with racism.

The scholars have met weekly this quarter to discuss these issues in preparation for Thursday's event.

The event is free and open to the public.
