The Arts for Ohio advisory committee is accepting proposals for arts initiatives that would be carried out next academic year.
The committee will begin reviewing proposals May 23. After that date, the group will review proposals at the end of each month until funds are exhausted.
The Arts for Ohio initiative, launched in the fall, provides for free student admission to College of Fine Arts events. The funding compensates for ticket income and covers the cost of new events and advertising. The program is slated to continue during the 2008-09 academic year with one-time Vision OHIO funding.
The program is designating a portion of the funds to develop arts initiatives to encourage student participation in existing or new events.
