Ohio University Eastern invites high school students to open house

ATHENS, Ohio (Oct. 6, 2005) -- Area students who are interested in learning more about the wide range of associate and bachelor degrees offered at Ohio University will have an opportunity to learn more on Friday, Oct. 21. High school juniors and seniors and their families are invited to Ohio University Eastern Campus' Annual Fall Open House, 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Eastern Campus on National Road west of St. Clairsville.

Students will have the opportunity to meet students, faculty and advisors and to learn about Ohio University's degree programs. Students will be provided a tour of the campus. A complimentary lunch will be provided and door prizes awarded.

All students who attend the open house and make an application will have the $20 application fee waived.

"Spending a day on campus is the perfect way to get a feel for the college experience and to meet some of our professors," said Jennifer Kellner, Eastern Campus recruitment coordinator. "Parents are also invited to attend the Open House and to have their questions answered on such topics as financial aid and the admission process."
