ZANESVILLE, Ohio (Nov. 14, 2005) --The Ohio University-Zanesville Campus Library is offering new technology to make student research easier.
Students who need help can now use Instant Messaging technology to chat with a librarian. To instant message the reference staff, use zanelibref- on AOL and MSN Messenger or firstname.lastname@example.org on Yahoo Messenger. This service is available from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday.
Students can also find news about the library on the library blog, "News @ your library," accessible through the Zanesville Campus Library web page. The blog offers book recommendations, posts service-related notifications and announces library events and activities.
Along with internet and technology enhancements, the Zanesville Campus Library provides group project resources in "@ your library."
