ATHENS, Ohio (Jan. 25, 2006) -- Lifehouse's tour bus will be making a stop in Athens on Friday, Jan. 27 for a show presented by the University Program Council. The band will perform hits from its most recent album, Lifehouse, as well as classics such as the number one hit "Hanging by a Moment."
"UPC is really excited to bring a popular band like Lifehouse. I've seen them in concert before and they are amazing performers," said Kelly Russo, UPC concert co-chair. "We want to give OU students the opportunity to see these talented musicians, and we're confident that the show will be a memorable experience."
Lifehouse has released three full-length albums since the band first entered Top 40 radio in 2000. The band has had repeated success on the Billboard charts with the singles "Breathing," "Spin" and "You and Me." Solo singer-songwriter MoZella will join the band on tour this winter as the opening act.
Lifehouse will perform on Friday, Jan. 27, at 8 p.m. in the Templeton-Blackburn Alumni Memorial Auditorium. Tickets for the show are $20 for the first 20 rows and $15 for all other seats.
