Ohio University is limited to one proposal for Track 2. There is no limit on the number of proposals submitted for the Planning Grant and Track 1 proposals. To manage this limitation, please e-mail Shane Gilkey, Assistant VP for Research, firstname.lastname@example.org (with a copy to email@example.com ) indicating your interest in applying as soon as possible and no later than August 30, 2010. In the event that more than one Ohio University applicant responds, an internal review committee will be convened to select the most competitive application to go forward to NSF on behalf of Ohio University.
DHHS has announced two programs (links above): Rural Health Network Development Planning Grant Program (HRSA-11-085) applications due October 8, 2010, and Rural Health Network Development (RHND) Grant Program (HRSA-11-089) applications due November 12, 2010. The Office plans to release an additional program, the Rural Health Information Technology Network Program in January, 2011. Applicants (Ohio University) may not apply to more than one of these grant programs in the same year.
