Powerglove

Metal

Metal Kombat for the Mortal Man

The band Powerglove is an instrumental trio from Boston who happen to have Berklee College of Music-quality pedigree. On its own, that’s nothing too special for a metal band. What sets these three wackos apart is their undying love of videogames and their willingness to make a career out of playing videogame soundtracks!

All Shall Perish

Death Metal

Hate. Malice. Revenge

'HMR' is a massive hybrid of Death Metal, Metalcore, Scandinavian melody, Thrash, Grind and Doom. Each influence captured in just the right dosage for maximum effect and impact. ASP never rely on tired generic patterns to get their point across. There are just too many twists, turns and tempo changes for the band ever to become stuck in a rut. The song writing is top notch throughout - other than a guarantee to pummel you senseless, you never really know what they'll do next. This is a very good thing.

The Raconteurs

Rock

Broken Boy Soldiers

The Raconteurs’ debut album Broken Boy Soldiers sees White playing apart from his "sister"-muse Meg for the first time in almost a decade. Backed up by a rhythm section of Jack Lawrence and Patrick Keeler of The Greenhornes, this is a grit-under-the-fingernails rock offering, but with an ear for eclecticism that brings to mind classic rock touchstones from the Beatles’ Revolver to Led Zep’s Physical Graffiti.
