Is there an admission cost for the Carnival?
Admission is free to the Carnival. Tickets can then be purchased to play the games or participate in the activities at each booth. Tickets will be $0.50 each and each booth will cost 1 or 2 tickets. Raffle tickets can be won as prizes at the booths or purchased separately for $1.00 each or 6 for $5.00.
What charities will the Carnival benefit?
All Carnival proceeds are going to charity! The Carnival will be donating to many local and national charities, including United Appeal and Teach for America. Each student organization that is hosting a booth at the Carnival will also be donating their portion of the proceeds to a charity of their choice. Why haven't I heard of this event before?
This is the first year that Phi Sigma Pi has hosted the Spring Fling Charity Carnival! Our chapter of Phi Sigma Pi was first established at Ohio University in 2006, and we have been working to plan a large-scale event that would involve groups from across campus and benefit the community. We plan to make this an annual event! Please come help us make the first year a success!
How can I participate?
The easiest way to participate is to attend the Carnival on May 2, 2009! All proceeds from the Carnival go to charity!
