After coming off a 17 goal, 8 assist, and drawing 8 ejections in the Great lakes Conference Regional Tournament, Senior Hart Williams was named Conference Player of The Week
In their first conference tournament, the bobcats are in the third place seed for conference championships after going 3-1 at the University of Dayton
The Bobcats traveled to Ann Arbor, Michigan for the Wolverine Invitational and returned witha record of 2-2 to begin the 2006-2007 season
|At the end of the 2005-2006 season, it was announced that Ohio University Men's Water Polo will be moving from the Ohio Valley Conference to the Great Lakes Conference for the 2006-2007 season. Click here to see all of the Great Lakes Conference Teams.

Congratulations to the Bobcats who received All-Conference Awards. Hart Williams and Greg Jones received First Team All-Conference honors. Mike Jones and goalie Jordan Meyer also received honors by being picked for the All-Conference Second Team. The full listing of the All-Conference Awards can be seen here.
|Miami University of Ohio hosted the Ohio Valley Conference Championship Tournament this past weekend. The Bobcats squad of 17 players and coach Dan Csontos came into the tournament seeded second to the Redhawks "A" team. Ohio won their first two games of the tournament on Sunday, qualifying for the championship match against Miami. The championship game was a defensive struggle led by Ohio's senior goalie Jordan Meyer with an amazing performance. The Bobcats were up 3-1 at the half, but the Redhawks drove it home in the later half scoring 3 unanswered goals. The final score was 4-3 in favor of Miami as the Bobcats finish second overall in their conference. For the full results click here.
