An
illustrious alumni, Dato' Kamalul Arifin Othman, paid a visit to OU to
meet with the President, Dr Roderick McDavis. Included in his itinerary
was a dinner meeting with all the Malaysian students currently in
Athens. Dato' Kamalul is the Chief Executive Officer of
Pelaburan
Hartanah Berhad.

participated in the yearly event, Malaysian Midwest Games International
2013, hosted by Western Michigan University.

International Street Fair
2013.MASA
participated in the street fair by selling Rojak Buah and Air Batu
Campur (ABC), a.k.a. Ais Kacang. The project was partially funded by
Education Malaysia Washington DC. Rojak Buah is a Malaysian fruit salad
consisting of various combinations of fruits and vegetables, typically
mango, pineapple, jicama and cucumber, topped with a spicy sweet
molasse sauce, sprinkled with chopped peanuts and sesame
seeds. ABC
is Malaysian shaved iced, loaded with colourful rose-scented syrup,
cream sweet corn, evaporated milk, tapioca pearls, chopped peanuts, and
etc.

Malaysian Festival:
Fashion, Film, Fiction, Food and Fun!
This
event was a festival-cum-conference by the Tun Abdul Razak Chair,
which showcased Malaysian fashion, film and food. Associate
Professors Mohd Adnan Hashim, and Abdul Razak Mohaideen from UiTM Shah
Alam gave keynote speeches on social media and cinema. For more info, click here.
