Mac OS bug could impact some users' WiFi

OIT technicians have identified a bug in some versions of Mac OS X that can affect Wi-Fi stability.  

We currently are working with Apple and are testing a beta version of OS 10.8.5. That version combined with the latest Apple AirPort update appears to resolve the issue.  

If you have a Mac OS X device, we recommend upgrading your operating system and applying the latest AirPort update when Apple releases the final version of OS 10.8.5 for public use.
