Data center improvements: Down time July 19, 12:01 am - 9:00 am

As part of the university's ongoing project to modernize and improve the reliability of its IT infrastructure, OIT has scheduled down time for most major OHIO online services from 12:01 am through 9:00 am on Saturday, July 19.

As noted previously, this work includes electrical improvements and core network upgrade preparations. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Affected services include, but are not limited to:

  • Blackboard
  • PeopleSoft & My OHIO Student Center
  • Oracle e-Business
  • Faculty & Advising Center
  • Course Offerings
  • Exchange email
  • Catmail
  • Portions of the OHIO web site, including the OHIO home page
  • Box
  • Qualtrics
  • OneCard services (vending, laundry readers, etc)

Internet access will remain available throughout the work; however, access is not guaranteed.
