Service Description

OIT provides technology support for centrally managed classrooms and other learning spaces. Centrally managed classrooms are scheduled through the Registrar’s office. To learn more about what a given service has planned, visit the IT Services Roadmap page to view all available roadmaps.

Learning Spaces Technology Support  

All learning spaces supported by OIT come with a level of technology support. Support offerings for OIT’s Learning Spaces Service include software and hardware installations. 

Learning Spaces Technology Consultation, Design, and Implementation  

OIT provides consultation, design, and implementation of technology solutions to meet unique learning space needs for OHIO departments and units.  

Academic Video Conferencing for Learning Spaces  

OIT provides support for both desktop and video conferencing in centrally scheduled and managed classrooms and other learning spaces. 

User Responsibilities

Users are expected to follow OHIO policies and procedures regarding the acceptable usage and security of Information Technology.

Service Hours and Availability

Support for all Learning Space Service offerings are available during regular university academic and business hours (6am-10pm Monday through Friday, and 10am-6pm on weekends). Service response and resolution times are as described in the OIT Service Desk Operational Level Agreement (OLA).
