  • Faculty and Staff: Exclusive use by a single individual on one university-owned computer and one personally-owned computer or shared use on a single university-owned computer.

How to Request

Faculty/Staff Individual Licenses

These licenses are tied to a specific OHIO ID and allow for installation on up to two computers, one of which can be personally-owned. To request, contact the IT Service Desk with the following information:

  • Software Title
  • Operating System
  • Ohio ID of each individual who needs a license

Once we have processed your request, the IT Service Desk will email you with additional instructions. 

Device-Based Licenses for Labs and Shared Workstations

These licenses are tied to a single, Active Directory-joined computer that can be used by multiple individuals, including students. To request, contact the IT Service Desk with the following information:

  • Software Title
  • Operating System
  • Quantity
  • Active Directory (AD) computer name of each device

Once we have processed your request, the installer will be available from the licensed computer's Software Center. 

How to Install 

The instructions below are for university-owned computers. If you need to install an individually licensed copy on a personally owned device, the Service Desk will send you instructions when that license is issued.

Windows

  1. Make sure your computer is connected to the OHIO network (wired or eduroam wi-fi for on-campus, VPN for off-campus).
  2. Open your Start Menu.
  3. Choose All Programs | Microsoft System Center | Software Center
  4. Choose Adobe Acrobat Pro DC.

If your university-owned PC does not have the Software Manager application, contact your departmental IT technician or the IT Service Desk to enroll in our PC Management service.

Mac

  1. Go to your Mac's Applications folder.
  2. Open the Self Service application.
  3. Choose Adobe Acrobat Pro DC.

If your university-owned Mac does not have the Self Service application, contact your departmental IT technician or the IT Service Desk to enroll in our Mac Management service.
