2013 OIT student scholarship recipients

May 14, 2013

OIT takes special interest in our families and dedicated student workers. For the 2013-2014 academic year, OIT awarded four $750.00 scholarships to Ohio University students. Our students come from all walks of life, and each one brings a unique contribution to our department or a department member's family. In many ways, they are our 'bread and butter.'  We encourage our student workers not only to be outstanding OIT staffers in their day-to-day tasks, but also to find ways for their roles to enhance their academic career paths.

In order to be considered for this award, applicants needed to meet the following criteria:

  • sophomore, junior or senior status
  • OIT student employee or family member of OIT employee
  • minimum 2.8 GPA
  • intend to enroll full-time for the 2013-2014 academic year
  • complete an OIT scholarship application

Recipients were chosen based on GPA, involvement in extra curricular activities, leadership attributes, and financial need.

Please join me in congratulating our 2013-2014 scholarship recipients: Matthew Bertoni, Ethan Kaiser, Leanne Ketchum, and Sarah Robles.
