Users Guide

Training Options

We offer individual and small group training sessions for instructors using a Student Response System in their classes. Our training includes topics such as:

  1. Developing interactive slides
  2. How to help students register clicker IDs online
  3. Generating a participant list from Blackboard
  4. Updating the participant list during add/drop
  5. Collecting and saving student session data
  6. Importing response data into grade books
  7. Making sure student clickers are working correctly

Software Compatibility

PC Users:

  • Microsoft Windows: XP, Vista, 7 or 8
  • Microsoft Office: 2003, 2007, 2010, or 2013, as well as 2016 32-bit version ONLY

Mac Users:

  • Mac OS X 10.6 to 10.10
  • Microsoft Office 2011 ONLY (Turning Technologies will not be updating TP5 for compatibility with newer versions of Office for Mac)

NOTE: You should still be able to use the Poll Anywhere tool, even if you do not have a compatible version of PowerPoint.
