Ohio University hosts inaugural It’s On Us National Student Leadership Summit [VIDEO]
Ohio University’s Athens campus hosted the It’s On Us National Student Leadership Summit Aug. 2–5, 2019. The first summit of its kind in the United States to combat sexual-assault aimed towards college students, the event stems from a national movement that was launched in 2014 following recommendations from the White House Task Force to Prevent Sexual Assault.
The campaign emphasizes the importance of engaging everyone in the conversation to end sexual violence. This video features students from Ohio, Pennsylvania, and surrounding areas sharing what they learned at the conference and what they hope to take back and apply at their universities.
