Ohio University will host the following upcoming trainings for faculty, staff and students: 

November/December – ALICE Trainings for faculty/staff/students 
The goals of the active shooter preparedness training is to encourage and promote this discussion and help participants be more prepared should an active shooter incident occur. Test your readiness, learn about options and gain confidence in your abilities to react by attending one of these sessions. Each class has a limit of 30 people.

Nov. 5, 10:30 – noon – Baker University Center 230
Nov. 15, 1 – 2:30 p.m. – Baker University Center 230
Dec. 6, 8:30 – 10 a.m. – Baker University Center 230
Dec. 18, 1 – 2:30 p.m. – Baker University Center 230

“Playing with Disaster - A Card Game and Instant Tabletop Exercise!”
Nov. 27, noon – 1 p.m. - Baker University Center 230

Bev Wyatt will demonstrate an instant exercise that can be used as a departmental training to test staff Business Continuity Readiness. This exercise requires no knowledge of poker, rummy or other card game. Come with an open mind and willingness to learn how to play.
